KARKAROOK PARK

Public BBQ

Karkarook Park, a serene oasis just off Warrigal Road, is perfect for outdoor activities. At its heart, a large lake attracts walkers, cyclists, kayakers, and even fishing enthusiasts. There are extensive asphalt tracks for exercise and wetland trails for birdwatchers to explore. Multiple playgrounds and picnic benches speckle the landscape, catering to families and larger groups. The park also features a small, tree-enclosed playground and well-kept restrooms. An observation tower offers panoramic views, perfect for photography lovers. Despite being next to an industrial area, the park is a verdant gem teeming with wildlife, including swans, parrots, magpies, and more. Parking is ample, but can fill quickly on sunny days. A note to visitors: the park requests that all trash be taken home, maintaining its pristine condition.
